GCSE and The Duke of Edinburgh Award

A number of our members have taken karate as a GCSE subject at School or College and we are now able to offer Karate as a choice PE subject used by some GCSE examining bodies. Members can study karate and qualify with us as a part of their GCSE and A level examination. We have also qualified a number of our students for the Duke of Edinburgh Award using karate as one of their achievements.

Black Belts and Senior Grades

SKE Black and Brown Belts have special classes available, which are designed for their more advanced level. Please look on our Club Locations page for the times of these popular and more advanced classes.
We also have an Instructor Training and Qualification Program in place, and so if you have the interest and desire to qualify as a Karate Instructor we can help and support you with all the necessary advice and information.
